If the sun doesn't shine on you this EASTER weekend, or you can't get away, pour yourself a cup of tea or a glass of wine, and read a novel. Reading can take you anywhere you want to be, so settle down and enjoy the trip.
And remember - it even rains in Venice!

Hello Marilyn you are so right about reading taking you anywhere you want. I’m reading a story about a woman with a teenage son who has gone missing. It’s harrowing, but I can’t put it down because I’m desperate to find out what happens. I’m sure he will be found and when he is I can celebrate with her. I know it’s a work of fiction, but I have to keep reminding myself of that. Your photographs are lovely and your books and the tea cup look inviting. Have a wonderful Easter, hugs Barbara
Hello Barbara - I hope you're having a wonderful Easter. The book you are reading sounds so moving that I can't wait to know who the author is! My thoughts for this weekend come from a lady in a wheelchair I met at a literary festival who told me she could travel anywhere as long as she had a book in front of her. Here's to travelling, by plane, boat, or in the armchair. Hugs to you, too.
